Writing an album called “FEBERERO” was not in my mind when I wrote this song, neither playing in a band. Still it was my first attempt not to write something personal but trying to catch people’s attention with typical indie/twee scene motives such as cats, hand claps, two open chords along with la la la la choirs. The song was clearly influenced by McCartney and a show called “Andy Milonakis”. Oh, yeah! There were an olympionic marathone crossing my town that year.
lyrics
Looking for a miracle
I felt so out of place
You opened up the stadium gates
and put me in this grace
Your boots were made for walking, man
on a sea already drained
So wait for me, hang over
I’ll keep alive the flame
Won’t you help me Kitty Jesus
I’m losing all my faith
Won’t you show me Kitty Jesus
Your trace along the way
Spookie and so effable
I tought that you were done
You just pop-out again instead,
you freaked mysealf to death
Bringin back the mices,
to stab them once again
Multiplying fishes,
you’re not supposed to share
Won’t you help me Kitty Jesus
I’m losing all my faith
Won’t you show me Kitty Jesus
Your trace along the way
So gimme gimme gimme
a sign you’re coming there
Gimme gimme gimme
a way beneath the rain
Gimme gimme gimme
a light to light the place
Gimme Gimme Gimme
The fire to burn the race
Won’t you help me Kitty Jesus
I’m losing all my faith
Won’t you show me Kitty Jesus
Your trace along the way
